1 U.S.C. § 105 — Title of appropriation Acts

Any Act of Congress that appropriates money to fund the government must use a set title format. It must read: "An Act making appropriations (stating what the money is for) for the year ending September 30 (stating the calendar year)."
The style and title of all Acts making appropriations for the support of Government shall be as follows: “An Act making appropriations (here insert the object) for the year ending September 30 (here insert the calendar year).”
