The Secretary must collect and maintain national and State-by-State data about spending on assisted flood-control and conservation measures. The data must also cover the expected flood-control or environmental benefits from those measures.
The Secretary must collect and maintain data for the nation and separately for each State about—(1) spending on the individual flood-control and conservation measures assisted under this chapter; and (2) the expected flood-control or environmental benefits, including soil-erosion benefits, that will result from carrying out those measures.
The Secretary shall collect and maintain data on a national and State by State basis concerning—
expenditures for the individual flood control and conservation measures for which assistance is provided under this chapter; and
the expected flood control or environmental (including soil erosion) benefits that will result from the implementation of such measures.
