16 U.S.C. § 204k — Addition of lands

The President of the United States can add land to Lassen Volcanic National Park in California. This must be done by an Executive proclamation. Before the President acts, the Secretaries of the Interior and Agriculture must jointly recommend it. The land available for addition is a specific set of sections: sections 3 and 4 in township 29 north, range 6 east, and sections 29 through 36 in township 30 north, range 6 east, under the Mount Diablo meridian — as long as those lands aren't already part of the park. There's one condition: no privately owned land can be added to the park until the United States actually holds legal title to it.
