The House establishes a Corrections Calendar Office to help the Speaker manage the Corrections Calendar under the House rules. The Office may have no more than five employees, whom the Speaker appoints after consulting the minority leader and whose pay the Speaker sets within the stated limit.
There is an office in the House of Representatives called the Corrections Calendar Office. It must help the Speaker manage the Corrections Calendar under the Rules of the House of Representatives. The Office may have no more than five employees. (1) The Speaker appoints those employees after consulting the minority leader. (2) The Speaker sets their yearly pay. Their yearly pay may not be more than 75 percent of the maximum yearly rate under the general limit set by the Speaker’s order in effect under section 4532 of this title.
There is established in the House of Representatives an office to be known as the Corrections Calendar Office, which shall have the responsibility of assisting the Speaker in the management of the Corrections Calendar under the Rules of the House of Representatives. The Office shall have not more than five employees—
who shall be appointed by the Speaker, in consultation with the minority leader; and
whose annual rate of pay shall be established by the Speaker, but may not exceed 75 percent of the maximum annual rate under the general limitation specified by the order of the Speaker in effect under section 4532 of this title.
