25 U.S.C. § 101 — Payment for wagon transportation

This section covers who pays for hauling supplies by wagon for Indian agencies and schools. It applies to wagon transportation from the point where the last common carrier (like a railroad) delivers goods, all the way to the agency, school, or other destination. It also applies to wagon transportation between points on the reservation, or elsewhere, once the goods have arrived. The cost of this transportation is paid out of whatever funds were appropriated or otherwise made available to support the school, agency, or other project that the transported supplies were bought for.
