This law creates the United States Employment Service. Its goal is to help build and run a nationwide system of public employment offices. The Employment Service sits inside the Department of Labor.
This section creates an agency called the United States Employment Service. Congress's goal is to help start and keep running a nationwide network of public employment offices — places where people can go to find jobs. The law places this new Employment Service inside the Department of Labor.
In order to promote the establishment and maintenance of a national system of public employment service offices, the United States Employment Service shall be established and maintained within the Department of Labor.
