The VA may pay $400 a month, adjusted under section 7631, to people chosen for this subchapter's assistance. This applies only during months they're enrolled in an agreed education program. Payments must be coordinated with any Selected Reserve GI Bill benefits for the same period.
The Secretary* may pay $400 per month, adjusted as section 7631 requires, to a person chosen for assistance under this subchapter. This payment covers each month the person is enrolled in an education or training program under their agreement made under section 7603. Any payment for a given period must be coordinated with benefits paid for that same period under chapter 106 of title 10 (the Selected Reserve* GI Bill program), so the person doesn't get paid twice for the same time.
The Secretary* may pay to a person selected to receive assistance under this subchapter the amount of $400 (adjusted in accordance with section 7631 of this title) for each month of the person’s enrollment in a program of education or training covered by the agreement of the person entered into under section 7603 of this title. Payment of such benefits for any period shall be coordinated with any payment of benefits for the same period under chapter 106 of title 10.
