This section requires Agriculture to conduct basic cancer research in animals and birds.
The Agriculture Secretary must conduct a basic research program on cancer in animals and birds at suitable Agriculture Department facilities or through grants to other qualified research facilities.
The Secretary of Agriculture shall conduct a program of basic research on cancer in animals and birds at appropriate facilities within the Department of Agriculture or by grants to other qualified research facilities.
