This section preserves the rest of the chapter if one provision or its application is held invalid.
If a provision of this chapter, or its application to a person* or circumstance, is held invalid, the rest of the chapter and the provision’s application to other people or circumstances remain unaffected.
If any provision of this chapter, or the application thereof to any person* or circumstances, is held invalid, the remainder of the chapter, and the application of such provision to other persons or circumstances, shall not be affected thereby.
