12 U.S.C. § 4210 — Sources of payments to declarants

An award under this chapter may be paid from money recovered in a civil action based partly or wholly on information in a valid declaration. The payment may go to the declarant or to the person who supplied the information.
Regardless of another law, an award under this chapter may be paid to the declarant or to an individual who provided information. The money may come from amounts recovered through a civil action based wholly or partly on information provided in a valid declaration under this chapter.
Notwithstanding any other law, an award under this chapter 1 may be paid to a declarant, or to an individual providing information, from the amounts recovered through civil actions based in whole or in part on the information provided in a valid declaration under this chapter.1
