A Coast Guard officer or cadet assigned shore patrol duty away from the officer's or cadet's vessel or duty station may receive actual expenses.
An officer or cadet of the Coast Guard assigned shore patrol duty away from the vessel or other duty station may be paid the person's actual expenses.
An officer or cadet of the Coast Guard who is assigned shore patrol duty away from his vessel or other duty station may be paid his actual expenses.
