Every year, on the first Monday of January, the Secretary of Commerce must report to Congress. The report covers the past year's data — gathered by the Bureau of Foreign and Domestic Commerce — on manufacturing, domestic trade, currency, and banks in the states and territories.
Each year, on the first Monday of January, the Secretary of Commerce must send Congress a report. This report must contain the results of information the Bureau of Foreign and Domestic Commerce collected during the previous year. It must cover the condition of manufacturing, domestic trade, currency, and banks in the various states and territories.
The Secretary of Commerce shall make a report to Congress on the first Monday of January in each year, containing the results of the information collected during the preceding year, by the Bureau of Foreign and Domestic Commerce, upon the condition of the manufactures, domestic trade, currency, and banks of the several States and Territories.
