The Secretary of Transportation must evaluate how much the automobile industry uses advanced automotive technology. The evaluation covers technology available to the industry or that could be made available.
The Secretary of Transportation, in furtherance of the purposes of this chapter, must evaluate the extent to which the automobile industry utilizes advanced automotive technology which is or could be made available to it.
The Secretary of Transportation, in furtherance of the purposes of this chapter, shall evaluate the extent to which the automobile industry utilizes advanced automotive technology which is or could be made available to it.
