This section requires the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development to process certain mortgage or loan-insurance applications as quickly as practicable.
Where an application for mortgage or loan insurance about a conversion or purchase of a rental housing project being undertaken by a tenants’ organization is submitted, the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development must expedite the processing of the application in every way and must make a final decision on such application at the earliest practicable time.
