This chapter defines “Commission” as the Federal Trade Commission. It defines “Internet” as the interconnected worldwide network of computer and telecommunications facilities, including equipment and software, that use the Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol or predecessor or successor protocols to communicate information by wire or radio.
In this chapter: (1) Commission. “Commission” means the Federal Trade Commission. (2) Internet. “Internet” means all the many computer and telecommunications facilities, including equipment and operating software, that make up the interconnected worldwide network of networks using the Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol, or any predecessor or successor protocols to that protocol, to communicate all kinds of information by wire or radio.
In this chapter:
The term “Commission” means the Federal Trade Commission.
The term “Internet” means collectively the myriad of computer and telecommunications facilities, including equipment and operating software, which comprise the interconnected world-wide network of networks that employ the Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol, or any predecessor successor 1 protocols to such protocol, to communicate information of all kinds by wire or radio.
