Each National Construction Safety Team must be selected and led by the Director. It must include at least one employee of the National Institute of Standards and Technology and other qualified experts, who may include nonfederal experts and officials.
Each Team must be composed of individuals selected by the Director and led by an individual designated by the Director. Team members must include at least one employee of the National Institute of Standards and Technology and must include other experts who are not employees of the National Institute of Standards and Technology, who may include private sector experts, university experts, representatives of professional organizations with appropriate expertise, and appropriate Federal, State, or local officials. Team members who are not Federal employees must be considered Federal Government contractors.
