The Director must promptly provide Office energy information to any properly established congressional committee that requests it. The committee owns the information for disclosure purposes and may disclose it only under its rules, House or Senate rules, and law.
The Director must promptly provide, on request, any energy information held by the Office to a duly established congressional committee. The information is treated as the committee’s property and may be disclosed only under the committee’s rules, the House or Senate rules, and applicable law.
The Director shall promptly provide upon request any energy information in the possession of the Office to any duly established committee of the Congress. Such information shall be deemed the property of such committee and may not be disclosed except in accordance with the rules of such committee and the Rules of the House of Representatives or the Senate and as permitted by law.
