16 U.S.C. § 21b — Extension of certain laws to park

This law extends several existing laws to cover the land added to Yellowstone National Park. These include: the Act of March 1, 1872, which first reserved land for park purposes; the Act of July 10, 1890, which admitted the State of Wyoming into the Union; the Act of May 7, 1894, which protects the birds and animals in Yellowstone National Park and punishes crimes committed there; and the Act of August 25, 1916, which established the National Park Service. Any acts supplementary to or amending these acts are also made applicable to and extended over the newly added park land. There's one exception: the Federal Power Act does not apply to, and does not extend over, this newly added land.
