Regulations issued under this chapter before October 2, 1996 remain effective until replaced by regulations under section 2405. Permits remain effective until they expire under their terms.
(a) Regulations. Regulations issued under this chapter before October 2, 1996, remain effective until regulations under section 2405 of this title replace them. (b) Permits. Permits issued under this chapter remain effective until they expire under their stated terms.
All regulations promulgated under this chapter prior to October 2, 1996, shall remain in effect until superseding regulations are promulgated under section 2405 of this title.
All permits issued under this chapter shall remain in effect until they expire in accordance with the terms of those permits.
