This law removes land from a park. Specific sections of land are taken out of Bryce Canyon National Park. They become part of the Powell National Forest instead, following that forest's rules.
This section shrinks the park in one place.
It identifies two specific described tracts of land — one in township 37 south, range 3 west, and one unsurveyed section in township 37 south, range 4 west, both under the Salt Lake meridian survey — that are removed from Bryce Canyon National Park.
These same tracts are then transferred to the Powell National Forest and become part of it. From that point on, they are governed by all the laws and regulations that already apply to the Powell National Forest, not the park's rules.
The following-described lands are eliminated from the Bryce Canyon National Park and shall hereafter be included in and become a part of the Powell National Forest, subject to all laws and regulations applicable thereto, to wit: Section 30, township 37 south, range 3 west; section 25, unsurveyed township 37 south, range 4 west, Salt Lake meridian.
