Land now inside the redrawn Great Smoky Mountains National Park boundary follows all park laws and rules. Federal land that gets cut out of the park by this boundary change instead becomes part of Pisgah National Forest, and follows forest rules.
Subject to any existing valid rights, all land within the newly redrawn boundaries of Great Smoky Mountains National Park (set by sections 403k to 403k–2) becomes part of the national park, and must follow all national park laws, rules, and regulations.
Any federally owned land that this boundary change removes from the park instead becomes part of Pisgah National Forest, and must follow all national forest laws, rules, and regulations.
Subject to valid existing rights, all lands within the boundaries of Great Smoky Mountains National Park, as redefined by sections 403k to 403k–2 of this title, hereafter shall be a part of the national park and shall be subject to all laws, rules, and regulations applicable to the national park. All federally owned lands eliminated from the national park by said sections shall hereafter be a part of the Pisgah National Forest and shall be subject to all laws, rules, and regulations relating to such national forest.
