When drawing the official maps and legal descriptions for Death Valley National Park and its Wilderness area, the Secretary had to leave out a specific area near the Porter Mine in the Panamint Range. That excluded area is shown on a map from June 1994.
While preparing the maps and legal descriptions required by section 410aaa–3 of this title and section 602 of this Act, the Secretary had to adjust the boundaries of the Death Valley National Park and the Death Valley National Park Wilderness so that they exclude the land generally shown on a map titled "Porter Mine (Panamint Range) Exclusion Area," dated June 1994.
In preparing the maps and legal descriptions required by section 410aaa–3 of this title and section 602 of this Act, the Secretary shall adjust the boundaries of the Death Valley National Park and Death Valley National Park Wilderness so as to exclude from such National Park and Wilderness the lands generally depicted on the map entitled “Porter Mine (Panamint Range) Exclusion Area” dated June 1994.
