16 U.S.C. § 410c — Preservation of primitive condition

This land must stay a permanent wilderness. No visitor development or entertainment project can go forward if it would disturb the area's unique plants, animals, or largely untouched natural condition.
The area or areas covered by this section must be kept permanently as wilderness. No development for a project, and no plan to entertain visitors, may go forward if it would interfere with keeping intact the area's unique plants ("flora") and animals ("fauna") and its essentially untouched, natural condition as it exists now.
The said area or areas shall be permanently reserved as a wilderness, and no development of the project or plan for the entertainment of visitors shall be undertaken which will interfere with the preservation intact of the unique flora and fauna and the essential primitive natural conditions now prevailing in this area.
