The Secretary must run Biscayne National Park under the general national park law. Fishing stays open under Florida law unless the Secretary limits it for conservation. The old Biscayne National Monument is abolished and folded into the new park.

(a) The Secretary must preserve and administer the park under the 1916 National Park Service Act, as amended. The park's waters stay open to fishing under Florida law, except the Secretary, after consulting the appropriate Florida officials, may designate species, areas, times, and methods where fishing is prohibited, limited, or otherwise regulated for sound conservation — but fishing on land Florida donates after this subchapter's effective date must always follow state law.
(b) The Biscayne National Monument, created by a 1968 law, is abolished, and all its land, water, and interests become part of the park. Any money available for the monument, and any funding previously authorized for it, becomes available for the park instead.

(b)

The Biscayne National Monument, as authorized by the Act of October 18, 1968 (82 Stat. 1188; 16 U.S.C. 450qq), as amended, is abolished as such, and all lands, waters, and interests therein acquired or reserved for such monument are hereby incorporated within and made a part of the park.
