16 U.S.C. § 410gg–4 — Revised comprehensive general management plan; submission to Congressional committees

Within two complete fiscal years of this subchapter's effective date, the Secretary had a specific reporting duty. The Secretary had to prepare and submit a revised comprehensive general management plan for Biscayne National Park. This plan had to be sent to two specific congressional committees: the Committee on Interior and Insular Affairs of the United States House of Representatives, and the Committee on Energy and Natural Resources of the United States Senate. The plan itself had to be consistent with the provisions of this subchapter — meaning it had to reflect the park's boundaries, purposes, and other requirements set out elsewhere in this law. It also had to be prepared following the procedures and criteria found in section 100502 of title 54, which sets out the general legal framework the National Park Service must follow when writing management plans for park units.
