16 U.S.C. § 424a–1 — Acceptance of donations of lands and other property on Signal Mountain

The Secretary of the Interior may, at his own discretion, accept donations on behalf of the United States. These donations can be land, buildings, structures, or other property — or interests in them — located on Signal Mountain, near Chattanooga, Tennessee. The donated property is meant to be added to the Chickamauga-Chattanooga National Military Park. Whoever donates the property must give the Secretary a title he finds satisfactory. Once the United States acquires this land, it becomes part of the Chickamauga-Chattanooga National Military Park, and it follows all the same laws and regulations that apply to the rest of the park.
