The Secretary of the Interior can trade park land for other land of about equal value. This only applies to land within the original George Washington land patent at Fort Necessity.
This section lets the Secretary of the Interior exchange land.
The Secretary may trade lands that were acquired under sections 430pp through 430tt of this title for other lands or interests in land. The purpose of the trade must be to carry out the goals of section 430pp.
The land the Secretary receives in the trade must be worth about the same as the land given up. It must also lie within the boundaries of the original George Washington land patent at Fort Necessity.
The Secretary of the Interior, in order to implement the purposes of section 430pp of this title, is authorized to exchange lands which may be acquired pursuant to sections 430pp to 430tt of this title for other lands or interests therein of approximately equal value lying within the original George Washington land patent at Fort Necessity.
