16 U.S.C. § 440a — Change in name of Fort McHenry Park

This section renames Fort McHenry National Park. The park was authorized by sections 437 through 440 of this title. From now on, it must be called and known as the "Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine" instead of its earlier name. The renaming doesn't affect the money. Any funds appropriated for this area before the renaming — under its old designation — may still be used for this area, now that it goes by its new name. In short, the law only changes what the site is called; it does not change its boundaries, purpose, or funding. The site continues to be run as it was before, just under the new official name.
