The federal land inside the new Wildlands Juniper Management Area is released from the usual wilderness study area rule. It no longer has to be managed to protect its potential for future wilderness status.
The federal land that's part of the Wildlands Juniper Management Area, created by section 460nnn–91, is no longer covered by the rule in section 1782(c) of title 43. That rule normally requires managing land so it doesn't lose its potential to become wilderness someday — but it no longer applies here.
The Federal lands included in the Wildlands Juniper Management Area established under section 460nnn–91 of this title are no longer subject to the requirement of section 1782(c) of title 43 pertaining to managing the lands so as not to impair the suitability of the lands for preservation as wilderness.
