Within one month after October 23, 1992, the Secretary must request information about each exporting country’s wild-bird conservation program through a Federal Register notice and a diplomatic written request.
Within one month after October 23, 1992, the Secretary* must call for information about each country’s wild-bird conservation program if the country exports exotic birds. The Secretary must do this by:
(1) publishing a Federal Register notice asking all interested people to submit the information to the Secretary; and
(2) sending a written request through the Secretary of State to each country that exports exotic birds.
Within one month after October 23, 1992, the Secretary* shall issue a call for information on the wild bird conservation program of each country that exports exotic birds, by—
publishing a notice in the Federal Register requesting submission of such information to the Secretary by all interested persons; and
submitting a written request for such information through the Secretary of State to each country that exports exotic birds.
