The Secretary of Agriculture must give landowners technical help so they can comply with healthy forests reserve program plans. The Secretary may use certified technical service providers through requests or cooperative agreements.
(a) In general. The Secretary of Agriculture must provide landowners technical assistance to help them comply with the terms of plans included in healthy forests reserve program agreements or easements. (b) Technical service providers. The Secretary may request services from, and enter cooperative agreements with, individuals or entities certified as technical service providers under section 3842 of this title to help provide the technical assistance needed to develop and carry out the program.
The Secretary of Agriculture shall provide landowners with technical assistance to assist the owners in complying with the terms of plans (as included in agreements or easements) under the healthy forests reserve program.
The Secretary of Agriculture may request the services of, and enter into cooperative agreements with, individuals or entities certified as technical service providers under section 3842 of this title, to assist the Secretary in providing technical assistance necessary to develop and implement the healthy forests reserve program.
