This section authorizes appropriations as needed to carry out the Act and its regulations. It also covers facilities and personnel needed to administer areas made available to the Interior Secretary.
Congress may periodically appropriate money from Treasury funds that have not otherwise been appropriated, in amounts needed to carry out this Act and its regulations. This includes building facilities, buildings, and other improvements needed to administer economically the areas made available to the Secretary of the Interior under the Act, and employing in Washington, D.C., and elsewhere the people and using the means the Interior Secretary considers necessary for those purposes.
There is authorized to be appropriated from time to time, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, such amounts as may be necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act and regulations made pursuant thereto, including the construction of such facilities, buildings, and other improvements necessary for economical administration of areas made available to the Secretary of the Interior under this Act, and the employment in the city of Washington and elsewhere of such persons and means as the Secretary of the Interior may deem necessary for such purposes.
