This section sets rules about relation to design patent law. It states the duties, permissions, limits, procedures, and other rules that apply under this section.
The issuance of a design patent under title 35, United States Code, for an original design for an article of manufacture must end any protection of the original design under this chapter.
The issuance of a design patent under title 35, United States Code, for an original design for an article of manufacture shall terminate any protection of the original design under this chapter.
