This law rounds up copyright terms. Every copyright term set by sections 302 through 304 actually ends on December 31 of its final year. It never expires in the middle of a year.
All copyright terms set by sections 302, 303, and 304 don't end on the exact date they'd otherwise expire. Instead, they run until the end of the calendar year in which they would expire.
All terms of copyright provided by sections 302 through 304 run to the end of the calendar year in which they would otherwise expire.
