Inconsistent laws are superseded only to the extent they conflict with sections 1841 through 1846. Sections 5504 and 6101(a)(5) of title 5 also apply to specified House and Senate Restaurant employees while they are supervised by the Architect of the Capitol.
(a) Any law that conflicts with sections 1841 through 1846 is superseded, but only to the extent of that conflict.
(b) Sections 5504 and 6101(a)(5) of title 5 apply to employees of the House and Senate Restaurants who are paid annual rates, for as long as those employees are supervised by the Architect of the Capitol as an agent of the House or Senate, respectively, as applicable.
All provisions of law inconsistent with sections 1841 to 1846 of this title are hereby superseded to the extent of the inconsistency.
Sections 5504 and 6101(a)(5) of title 5 shall apply to employees of the House and Senate Restaurants who are paid at per annum rates of pay as long as such employees are under the supervision of the Architect of the Capitol as an agent of the House or Senate, respectively, as the case may be.
