2 U.S.C. § 1905b — Notification of obligation

Beginning March 15, 2022, this section requires advance written notice to the Senate and House Appropriations Committees for obligations of at least $100,000 from the specified funds. It applies to fiscal year 2022 and later fiscal years.
(a) Beginning on March 15, 2022 , the Chief of the United States Capitol Police must provide written notice to the Committee on Appropriations of the Senate and the Committee on Appropriations of the House of Representatives before any obligation of funds under section 1905(a)(2) of this title that equals or exceeds $100,000. (b) This section must apply with respect to fiscal year 2022 and each fiscal year after that.
