2 U.S.C. § 4916 — Definitions

For sections 4914 through 4916, the section defines “academic year,” “page,” and “congressional page.”
As used in sections 4914 to 4916 of this title, the term— (1) “academic year” means a regular school year, consisting of two semesters; (2) “page” means a page of the House of Representatives, but such term does not include a full time, permanent employee of the House of Representatives with supervisory responsibility for pages; and (3) “congressional page” means a page of the House of Representatives or the Senate.
As used in sections 4914 to 4916 of this title, the term—
