The Secretary of the Senate may advance a designated employee up to $1,500 for official travel expenses related to the Secretary’s duties under the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971. The employee must submit a detailed voucher and settle the advance as soon as practicable.
The Secretary of the Senate may, at the Secretary’s discretion, advance a designated employee under the Secretary’s authority the amount needed, up to $1,500, for official travel expenses assisting the Secretary in carrying out duties under the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971 (52 U.S.C. 30101 et seq.). As soon as practicable, the employee must give the Secretary a detailed voucher for the expenses incurred and settle any amount advanced.
The Secretary of the Senate is hereafter authorized to advance, in his discretion, to any designated employee under his jurisdiction, such sums as may be necessary, not exceeding $1,500, to defray official travel expenses in assisting the Secretary in carrying out his duties under the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971 [52 U.S.C. 30101 et seq.]. Any such employee shall, as soon as practicable, furnish to the Secretary a detailed voucher for such expenses incurred and make settlement with respect to any amount so advanced.
