This section covers stipends. It states the rules that apply to that subject.
Each person awarded a scholarship or fellowship under this chapter must receive a stipend which must not exceed the cost to that person for tuition, fees, books, room and board*, or that lesser amount as can be prescribed by the Board. Each person awarded a research internship under this chapter must receive a stipend as can be prescribed by the Board, which must not exceed the maximum stipend amount awarded for a scholarship or fellowship.
