(a) This subchapter is called the “Safe Schools Act of 1994.” (b) Its purpose is to help local school systems make schools safe and free of violence while pursuing Goal Six of the National Education Goals.
(a) Short title. This subchapter may be called the “Safe Schools Act of 1994.”
(b) Statement of purpose. This subchapter aims to help local school systems achieve Goal Six of the National Education Goals. That goal says that, by 2000, every American school will be free of drugs and violence and will provide a disciplined environment that supports learning. This subchapter does so by ensuring that all schools are safe and free of violence.
This subchapter may be cited as the “Safe Schools Act of 1994”.
It is the purpose of this subchapter to help local school systems achieve Goal Six 1 of the National Education Goals, which provides that by the year 2000, every school in America will be free of drugs and violence and will offer a disciplined environment conducive to learning, by ensuring that all schools are safe and free of violence.
