This section lists the goals of this part of the law. It aims to improve teaching through better coordination between programs. It also gives states more flexibility and better integrates programs.
This part of the law has three goals:
(1) To improve teaching and learning by encouraging programs to coordinate, plan, and deliver services together instead of working separately.
(2) To give State and local authorities more flexibility, by letting them use consolidated plans, applications, and reports instead of separate ones for each program.
(3) To better connect the programs under this chapter with State and local programs.
The purposes of this part are—
to improve teaching and learning by encouraging greater cross-program coordination, planning, and service delivery;
to provide greater flexibility to State and local authorities through consolidated plans, applications, and reporting; and
to enhance the integration of programs under this chapter with State and local programs.
