This section preserves stricter State and local laws.
Nothing in this subpart is meant to override a law of a State or a State political subdivision that is stricter than a provision of this subpart.
Nothing in this subpart 1 is intended to preempt any provision of law of a State or political subdivision of a State that is more restrictive than a provision of this subpart.1
