20 U.S.C. § 80q–15 — Authorization of appropriations

(a) Funding: Congress authorized appropriating money to the Board of Regents to carry out this subchapter — except for what's separately covered by sections 80q–5(b)(1)(B), 80q–6, 80q–8, 80q–9, 80q–10, 80q–12, and 80q–13(c)(5). It authorized (1) $10,000,000 for fiscal year 1990, and (2) whatever sums are needed for each later fiscal year. (b) How long the funds last: Money appropriated under subsection (a) stays available with no fiscal-year time limit. It can be used, before the facilities under section 80q–5 are ready, for administrative and planning expenses and for taking care of the National Museum's collections.
