This section establishes Deputy Directors for the Offices of Library Services and Museum Services. It states the qualifications and appointing authority for each position.
The Office of Library Services must be headed by a Deputy Director*, who must be appointed by the Director from among individuals who have a graduate degree in library science and expertise in library and information services. The Office of Museum Services must be headed by a Deputy Director, who must be appointed by the Director from among individuals who have expertise in museum services.
