A State that wants assistance under this subchapter may create a broadly representative State advisory council for library entities.
A State seeking assistance under this subchapter may establish a State advisory council. The council must broadly represent the library* entities in the State, including public, tribal, school, academic, special, and institutional libraries; libraries serving people of varied geographic, cultural, and economic backgrounds; people with disabilities; rural and urban residents; Native Americans; military families; veterans; and caregivers.
Each State desiring assistance under this subchapter may establish a State advisory council which is broadly representative of the library* entities in the State, including public, tribal, school, academic, special, and institutional libraries, and libraries serving people of diverse geographic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds, individuals with disabilities, residents of rural and urban areas, Native Americans, military families, veterans, and caregivers.
