Breaking any rule in this chapter is a crime called a misdemeanor. A court can fine the violator up to $1,000. The court can also jail them for up to one year, or do both.
Anyone — a person, a firm, or a corporation — who breaks any rule in this chapter has committed a misdemeanor.
A court that convicts them can punish them in three ways: a fine of up to $1,000, imprisonment of up to one year, or both a fine and imprisonment together. The court decides which punishment, or combination, fits the case.
Any person, firm, or corporation who shall violate any of the provisions of this chapter shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and shall, upon conviction, be punished by a fine of not exceeding $1,000 or by imprisonment not exceeding one year, or by both such fine and imprisonment, in the discretion of the court.
