22 U.S.C. § 1631n — Penalties

Anyone who willfully violates any provision of this “subchapter” or any “rule” or “regulation” issued under it shall be fined not more than $5,000, or, if that person is a “natural person,” shall be imprisoned for not more than five years, or shall receive both penalties. Anyone who willfully violates, neglects, or refuses to comply with any “order” of the President or of a “designee” of the President under this “subchapter,” when the order was issued in compliance with this “subchapter,” shall be fined not more than $5,000, or, if that person is a “natural person,” shall be imprisoned for not more than five years, or shall receive both penalties. The officer, director, or agent of any “corporation” who knowingly participates in such a violation shall be punished by a like fine, imprisonment, or both. This section does not define “subchapter,” “rule,” “regulation,” “order,” “designee,” “natural person,” “officer,” “director,” “agent,” or “corporation.”
