Certain export licenses issued on or before September 30, 1978, may later be renewed, reissued, or modified. If one lapses, a replacement may be issued, but none of these actions may significantly change the license as first issued.
An export license described in § 2372 that was first issued on or before September 30, 1978, may later be renewed, reissued, or modified. If it lapses, a replacement license may be issued. The renewal, reissuance, modification, or replacement may not significantly change the license as first issued.
Any export license referred to in section 2372 1 of this title which is issued initially on or before September 30, 1978 may from time to time thereafter be renewed, reissued or modified (or in the event of lapse of such license, replacement licenses may be issued), provided that any such renewal, reissuance or modification (or any such replacement license) does not change significantly any such license as initially issued.
