Peace Corps volunteer service does not excuse a volunteer from obligations under the Universal Military Training and Service Act.
Serving as a Peace Corps volunteer does not exempt the volunteer in any way from obligations or duties under the Universal Military Training and Service Act, despite any other law or regulation.
Notwithstanding the provisions of any other law or regulation, service in the Peace Corps as a volunteer shall not in any way exempt such volunteer from the performance of any obligations or duties under the provisions of the Universal Military Training and Service Act [50 U.S.C. 3801 et seq.].
