Congress says this subchapter doesn't require disclosing legally protected information. UNESCO's constitution doesn't demand it either.
In adopting this subchapter, it is Congress's understanding that neither the Organization's constitution nor this subchapter requires disclosing information or knowledge in any case where such disclosure is banned by any U.S. law.
In adopting this subchapter, it is the understanding of the Congress that the constitution of the Organization does not require, nor does this subchapter authorize, the disclosure of any information or knowledge in any case in which such disclosure is prohibited by any law of the United States.
